SINGAPORE, 11 August 2026 — FOMO Pay served as the official online payment gateway for the Singapore Motor Cycle Trade Association (SMCTA) Charity Dinner 2026, themed "Wheels of Hope, Ride for Change," which brought together members, sponsors, partners and friends of the motorcycle industry for an evening of fellowship and giving.

The event raised SGD 310,000 in support of the Singapore Children's Society (SCS) and the National University of Singapore Children's Kidney Centre (CKC), with raffle ticket sales and outright donations processed through FOMO Pay's online payment gateway.

Guest of Honour Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office and NTUC Deputy Secretary-General, joined sponsors, partners and members of the trade association to celebrate the industry's collective contribution to the community.
As SMCTA's payment partner for the event, FOMO Pay helped power a seamless giving experience that made it easy for guests and sponsors to support the cause. Behind the scenes, FOMO Pay integrated its online payment gateway into two dedicated SMCTA websites, one for raffle ticket sales and another for dollar-to-dollar donations, activating credit card, PayNow and e-wallet options across both, giving guests and sponsors a range of ways to contribute.

The Charity Dinner builds on SMCTA's broader push to modernise the motorcycle trade industry. The Association has supported motorcycle workshops in adopting digital tools to streamline operations, improve productivity, and enhance customer service standards and professionalism across the sector. This year's event marked a different kind of contribution, one that reached beyond the industry itself to support children and families in need.

"SMCTA is extending its impact beyond the industry by supporting the Singapore Children's Society and the National University of Singapore Children's Kidney Centre, helping to improve the lives and well-being of children in need," Desmond Tan said in a Facebook post following the event.

"Payment infrastructure exists to make it effortless for value to move, and in this case, it was giving," said Louis Liu, Founder & CEO of FOMO Pay. "At the SMCTA Charity Dinner, we're proud to have played a small part in an evening that translated directly into support for children and families who need it most."

By making donations simple and accessible, FOMO Pay helped our guests and sponsors contribute to a meaningful cause. We are delighted that, together with our members and partners, we raised SGD 310,000 to support the Singapore Children's Society and the National University of Singapore Children's Kidney Centre. This reflects our Association's commitment not only to advancing the motorcycle industry, but also to giving back to the wider community," said Mr. Rex Tan, President of Singapore Motor Cycle Trade Association.
As part of its own commitment to giving back, FOMO Pay also made its own contribution at the event in support of SCS and CKC.

Funds raised at the dinner will go directly toward programmes run by SCS and CKC supporting children and families in Singapore.
