FOMO Group is proud to announce a defining milestone as its Founder & CEO, Louis Liu, has been recognised with the FinTech Mentor Award at the SFF FinTech Excellence Awards 2025.
Jointly organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA), and supported by PwC Singapore, the Awards honour companies and individuals shaping Singapore’s FinTech landscape. The FinTech Mentor Award, in particular, recognises individuals who uplift others, an ethos Louis has long embodied by empowering teams and the broader FinTech community to innovate, grow, and advance digital finance.

Under Louis’s leadership, FOMO Group has grown into a one-stop digital financial services platform. FOMO Pay enables businesses with seamless domestic and cross-border payments, multi-currency named business accounts, FX and treasury solutions, and fiat and stablecoin payment solutions. Alongside CapBridge, a digital investment platform, and 1exchange, a licensed exchange for tokenised real-world assets (RWA) and private listing, FOMO Group provides a unified digital finance ecosystem that bridges traditional finance and next-generation financial services, serving businesses across Southeast Asia, the Greater Bay Area, and the Middle East & North Africa regions.

Beyond business achievements, Louis Liu has been a driving force in the FinTech ecosystem, locally and globally. He serves on the executive committees of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) Youth Business Affairs Committee and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Young Business Leaders Network to support industry initiatives. He also led FOMO Pay’s participation in the SGQR Taskforce as one of the founding members, helping shape Singapore’s unified QR payments standard. Louis was invited to speak at leading industry events, including the Singapore FinTech Festival, Hong Kong FinTech Week, World Economic Forum, and Money 20/20, contributing thought leadership on digital payments, cross-border finance, and the evolution of financial services, all while inspiring the FinTech community to innovate and grow.
"Receiving the FinTech Mentor Award during SFF's 10th anniversary, which also marks FOMO Group's 10th year at the festival, is a meaningful milestone. I’m grateful to the entire FOMO Group team for making it possible," said Louis. "This recognition reflects our shared commitment to not only developing talent and driving innovation within our company, but also to supporting the broader FinTech community, advancing Singapore’s position as a global hub for digital finance, and contributing to the development of cross-border digital financial ecosystems. It celebrates our efforts to build a unified digital finance platform that empowers businesses worldwide to navigate both traditional and next-generation financial services with confidence."
