SF Express Singapore executes plan for WeChat Pay integration with FOMO Pay

In collaboration with FOMO Pay, SF Express Singapore has successfully integrated WeChat Pay into their current billing infrastructure. WeChat Pay can now be used by all couriers island wide, saving time at the client’s doorstep during delivery, and allowing SF Express to make more deliveries in a day. This is exceptionally useful for customers who are using SF Express Singapore’s courier service to send personal shipments to China.

SF Express Singapore has two major outlets in Singapore for walk-in customers, located within less than 5-min walking distance from Macpherson MRT Station, and Chinatown MRT station. Both outlets are using FOMO Pay to accept WeChat Pay payment transactions as well.

In the midst of Singapore’s subdued retail climate, more local retailers are turning to other sources of sales, especially from mainland Chinese tourists. China is the number one market for arrivals to Singapore, with over 2.6 million visitors from China from January to November in 2016, according to an article from The Straits Times. The growing number of incoming Chinese tourists presents a huge potential for retailers in Singapore.
