FOMO Pay named Semi-Finalist for Singapore FF17 Pitch Competition

Hosted by Visa, the FF17 Singapore Semi-Final was held at the Visa Innovation Lab on 16 November in conjunction with the Singapore FinTech Festival week this year. The top 10 to 15 FinTech startups in Singapore were given 4 minutes each to awe the judges in order to get into the FF17 Finals. FOMO Pay was selected as one of the semi-finalists in Singapore. FOMO Pay presents at DBS HotSpot 2016 Demo Day

On 18 November 2016, DBS HotSpot 2016 reached the final segment of its programme – Demo Day. After a gruelling 3-month programme of training and workshops, the final 9 teams were chosen out of 250 applicants to enter the DBS HotSpot Pre-Accelerator. These teams were Cafebond, Flide, Foodrazor, HugProperty, Inncee, Pegaxis, Seedly, SushiVid and ToucanApp. Each team received a S$25,000 entrepreneur award for zero equity, and were given help from experienced mentors to further develop their product and refine their pitch and sales strategies. FOMO Pay at DBS Hong Kong Accelerator Demo Day 2016

DBS Accelerator 2016 held its Demo Day on 1 November at Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong.
