FOMO Pay shortlisted as finalist for Fintech Awards in this year’s Singapore Fintech Festival

The Monetary Authority of Singapore has recently announced the finalists for the 2017 Global Hackcelerator and FinTech Awards. These awards are among the highlights of this year’s Singapore Fintech Festival (‘SFF’) that is scheduled to take place from 13-17 November 2017 at the Singapore Expo. The winners of the FinTech Awards will be announced at the FinTech Awards Night, which will be held on 16 November.

As a named finalist in the FinTech Award category, FOMO Pay is in contention to win the prestigious award given to companies with the most promising fintech solutions. According to MAS, the winners of the award will be selected by a panel of judges comprising international experts across multiple domains. The selection process is led by PwC and the finalists will be judged on how well they do in terms of impact, practicality, interoperability as well as uniqueness and creativity.

The FOMO Pay platform is a one-stop QR Code payment solution that enables merchants to accept a full suite of new payment methods that include WeChat Pay, Alipay, NETSPay and mVisa. Featured on the list of finalists for the Fintech Award is our FOMO Pay Merchant App (iOS/Android). FOMO Pay Merchant is a backend managing mobile app provided to FOMO Pay merchants with the following key features:

• Collect payment from WeChat Pay, Alipay, Baidu Wallet, BestPay, etc.;
• Receive payment notification and voice alert in real-time;
• To view past transaction history on the go;
• To view next settlement amount and expected date of settlement;
• Ability to void or refund transactions if admin access is enabled.

Being named as a finalist for the Fintech Award is recognition for the hard work we have put into developing our products.
