Situated on the banks of the Singapore River amidst the hustle and bustle of Clarke Quay’s famous nightlife, Jumbo Seafood has been serving up gastronomic delights for locals and travellers alike. Since its humble inception in 1987, Jumbo Seafood has expanded to include 9 restaurants in Singapore and China. The latest Jumbo outlet opened in Beijing, China in July this year, bearing testament to the restaurant’s popularity not only in Singapore but in China as well. Apart from Jumbo Seafood, parent company Jumbo Group also owns JPOT and Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh amongst others.

Jumbo Seafood’s first outlet in China opened on November 2013 in Shanghai. Riding on the wave of mobile payments led by WeChat Pay and Alipay gripping the Chinese market, Jumbo Seafood China adopted both WeChat Pay and Alipay and saw its business grow from strength to strength.

Having seen the success of integrating WeChat Pay and Alipay into its payment systems in China, Jumbo Group has decided to partner with FOMO Pay in Singapore to bring the benefit of paying through the WeChat payment to customers. This decision was made in light of the growing number of Chinese tourists visiting Singapore in recent years and would make it convenient for customers to use WeChat Pay for meals.

With famous dishes such as the award winning Jumbo Chili Crab and Golden Salted Egg Prawns, we are confident that Jumbo Seafood will be continuing winning the hearts and minds of many a food lover and to successfully promote Singaporean cuisine overseas.
